These Terms apply to the website, browser extension, mobile app, email-to-save workflow, shared reading links, and any related features we make available under the Read You Later brand.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

You agree to provide accurate account information, keep it up to date, and use a secure password. If you believe your account has been compromised, you should change your credentials and contact us promptly using the support method published with the service.

3. Your Right to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use Read You Later for your personal or internal business reading and research workflows.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including experimental features, imports, exports, share links, or email-based capture tools.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Read You Later, including saved links, imported data, highlights, and other material you add to your library.

You give us permission to host, store, process, reproduce, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for you, including syncing your library across devices and generating readable article views.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Read You Later or help anyone else do so.

  • Do not access the service in a way that breaks, overloads, or interferes with normal operation.
  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, access controls, or security protections.

  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service except as allowed by law and these Terms.
  • Do not use automated means to abuse imports, exports, sign-up flows, or shared links.

7. Third-Party Materials

Read You Later interacts with third-party websites, articles, newsletters, and other sources that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, legality, or accuracy.

You are responsible for making sure your use of third-party materials through the service complies with any rights, restrictions, or licenses that apply to those materials.

8. Fees and Future Paid Features

If Read You Later offers paid features, subscriptions, or usage-based plans in the future, we will disclose the applicable pricing and billing terms before you are charged.

Unless we explicitly say otherwise, new paid features will be optional and governed by these Terms together with any plan-specific terms presented at purchase.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or used the service in a harmful or abusive way.

You may stop using the service at any time. Suspension or termination may result in loss of access to your library, shared links, preferences, or related account data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, error-free, or lossless, or that article extraction, sync, imports, exports, or shared links will always work exactly as expected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Read You Later and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, profits, revenues, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.

If the law does not allow the full limitation above, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid us anything.
